Scrap Ribbon on a Card…

Hey Stampers!
Today’s share is a great way to use up some of those scraps of ribbon you have laying around. This is a card I did with my extra scraps of ribbon. It makes a cute card. Lay scraps on the top edge of your card front going down when finished just snip off the long pieces add a tag and you’re done, it’s that easy.
White & Black Pumpkin…
Hey Stampers!
I got some white pumpkins the other day not knowing what I wanted to do with them I had seen some pumpkins done like this with ribbon in a magazine. So to dress my up a little I put black ribbon around the pumpkin. I used all the black & white ribbon from Stampin Up! that I have and tired it round the stem. Added a tag using the Two Tags Die and the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet set with the Big Shot!
Patterned Pines…
Hey Stampers!
Today share is a card I made for a shoe box swap I went to last weekend. My upline Patty Bennett had her Stamp-Rama, which I was able to attend. Very quick & simple card for the Holidays.
I used the stamp set called Patterned Pines (page 4) from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The set is one of the two sets offered to hostess from October 1st – January 4th.
DSP is Christmas Cocoa (page 21) from the Holiday Mini. I wanted to be able to place my Final Press Emboss Folder along the side or at the top of my card only so I cut my Emboss Folder into different sizes. I Stamped the trees on Real Red cardstock with Very Vanilla Craft Ink then heat embossed. Saying is from the stamp set Heard from the Heart (page 142) Ribbon is Polka-Dot Grosgrain (page 183).
Pumpkin Patch Card…
Hey Stampers…
The other day I made a Little Pumpkin Patch. So today I made a card to go along with the Pumpkin Patch.
I wanted the card to look like the pumpkin patch. I made the pumpkins with the Small Oval Punch (page 186) and the DSP Cast-A- Spell (page 161). Base of the card is Pumpkin Pie Cardstock with a Basic Black Top Note Die (page 198). Used Pumpkin Pie Ribbon (page 183) for my stems and Old Olive Cardstock for the vines.
To make the bin to hold the pumpkins you need a piece of Kraft Cardstock sponged with Close to Cocoa I used the Scallop Edge Punch (page 187) for the top of the bin. I cut pieces of Kraft Cardstock with the Word Window Punch (page 187) sponge them place one on every other scallop. The Happy Halloween sign is made from the stamp set All Holidays (page 43) from Stampin UP!.
Here is my Pumpkin Patch…
Hey Stampers!
I wanted to make some pumpkins for Halloween. So here is what I came up with. My little pumpkin patch. I made some pumpkins last year for Thanksgivings this year I wanted some for Halloween.
I wanted the pumpkins to look like they were in a bin so I used the Big Shot Die Fancy Folds from Stampin Up! (page 200). I did cut the box down a little then used the Scallop Edge Punch, (page 187) before putting the box together. To make it look like a bin after it was together I used the Word Window Punch (page 187) added one to every other scallop (sponged with Close to Cocoa).
Pumpkins are made with the Round Tab Punch (page 187). It takes 10 of them to make one pumpkin I used the DSP paper called Cast-A-Spell (page 161). Added a little piece of ribbon before taping the last one together. Then I took a thin piece of Old Olive cardstock around a pencil to make a stem. What I did to make the cardstock look like hay was I took a piece of So Saffron cardstock sponged it with Close of Cocoa cut it into thin strips ran threw through the Crimper page (188). My little 5 cent sign is made with the stamp set called Halloween Hoot (page 23)
