Patterned Pines…
Hey Stampers!
Today share is a card I made for a shoe box swap I went to last weekend. My upline Patty Bennett had her Stamp-Rama, which I was able to attend. Very quick & simple card for the Holidays.
I used the stamp set called Patterned Pines (page 4) from the Holiday Mini Catalog. The set is one of the two sets offered to hostess from October 1st – January 4th.
DSP is Christmas Cocoa (page 21) from the Holiday Mini. I wanted to be able to place my Final Press Emboss Folder along the side or at the top of my card only so I cut my Emboss Folder into different sizes. I Stamped the trees on Real Red cardstock with Very Vanilla Craft Ink then heat embossed. Saying is from the stamp set Heard from the Heart (page 142) Ribbon is Polka-Dot Grosgrain (page 183).
Big Shot & Punches…
Hey Stampers!
I needed some last minute Christmas cards for the Nieces & Nephews. Playing with the Big Shot and Punches I made some faces. I think they stayed pretty cute.
I made the Santa and the Elf with Blush Blossom Card stock, the Grinch is done with Old Olive, and the Snowman with Whisper White. I used various size of round punches. To make the rick rack on the hat I cut a strip of card stock 1″ wide and used the Scallop Edge punch along both sizes.
Baby Wipe Techinque…
Hey Stampers!
Here is a card I made with the Baby Wipe Technique. Thanks Stamping School for the Technique.
To try this technique you will need baby wipes and some reinker. Placed a couple of baby wipes in a Powder Pal or on a flat dish. Add drops of different color using your reinkers to the baby wipes, put your stamp right on the baby wipes and know you’ll ready to stamp. Easy huh!
The stamp set is Scandinvian Season from the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used colors from Stampin Up!. Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point and Riding Hood Red. Added a pearl from the Pretties Kit. Peaceful Tidings is a rub on from Season of Cheer also from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
Snow Burst…
Hey Stampers! This is a fast & easy Christmas card using the set Snow Burst from Stampin Up!
I used Versa Mark with a snowflake on Riding Hood Red for the background. The Big Shot Top Note Die is cut out with Very Vanilla, sponged the edges with Always Artichoke. The wreath is using a snowflake from the set in Always Artichoke
To make the holy berries on the wreath I just used my 1/8 hand held punch and punch a few holes here and there letting the Red Hood Red show through. Added Grosgrain Ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog to the top.
What could be easier than that!.
Quilted Ornaments using Coasters…
Hey Stampers!
The other day my upline Patty Bennett made some cute coaster, that look like quilted ornaments to hold gift cards. I made a couple of them to hold Lottery Tickets.
I cut 1″ squares from Holiday Treasures DSP from Stampin Up!. Used the Felt Flurries from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Placed a Build-a-Brad and a Rhinestone Brad to the center of the Felt Flurries. Added some stitches with my White Gel Pen.
Thanks Patty for the idea, love them.
