Build-A-Bear Class Idea…
Hey Stampers!
Today I’m sharing with you a class project that I will be offering in September to kick off the new The Build-A-Bear Dies & Stamps Sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog which is only offered through Stampin Up! starting tomorrow. When making the tin I was thinking you could Build-A-Bear (get it). You can take the tin with you on the go in the car, have it at home or even give it as a really cute birthday gift.
This is a DVD tin. The out side of the tin is made with the Build-A-Bear Stamp Set called Seal of Pawthenticity. Stamp the bear with Versamark on the tin then emboss with black embossing powder. The Cardstock, DSP & Ribbon are made with the new in-color Melon Mambo. The bears & clothing are made with a the Big Shot Dies. I placed a piece of adhesive magnet inside on both sides. Also used the adhesive magnet on the bear and each piece of clothing.
The tin goes together really quick if you have all the Build-A-Bear Dies from Stampin Up! If you would like to have the Dies & Stamps for The Bear-A-Class you can order them from me at www.leneepearson.stampinup.net. Remember they will only be offered through Stampin Up!
Twick or Tweet…
Hey Stampers!
This card is from the stamp set called Twick or Tweet. It’s in the new Holiday Mini Catalog which will be available September 1st. With this stamp set you could make up some really cute Halloween cards in no time at all especially with some DSP. The DSP I used is also in the Holiday Mini Catalog called Night & Day.
A New Blog Look…
Hey Stampers!
I have to give a big THANK YOU to my sister in-law Julia, she is the one who changes my blog header and colors for me. She does her own graphic designs. Her website is www.juliabettencourt.com. Check out her blog she is going to start having graphics available.
A Lattice Thank You…
Hey Stampers!
This is a thank you card that I sent too the sweetes/funniest t ladies I met at convention this year. My downline (hi Julia) and I were sitting behind them Friday morning, we turned around to say hi and talk with them. After that is was nothing but laughs between us. Them two were a hoot! We had such much fun with them on Friday we couldn’t wait to see them on Saturday.
I made the card with Bg Shot Die called Lattice from Stampin Up! The color cardstock is Bernuda Bay & Melon Mambo. I felt the card needed a little something added to it so I used a half pearl from the pretties kit. To make the pearl I used my sponge daubler in Melon Mambo over the pearl add some clear embossing powder the heat for about 30 seconds.
Extreme Beware…
Hey Stampers!
Just playing today with some stamp sets called Beware Pirates & Extreme Elements from Stampin UP! If you’re like me and have teenager this set is perfect for you.
Before I stamped the Pirate I stamped the Extreme Elements set on and off the cardstock . To make the Pirate stand out I embossed him then used the spritzer tool with Rich Razzleberry. Color cardstock used is Going Gray, Basic Black and the new in color called Rich Razzleberry.
